Even though “Entrando al Juego” is Trivales’ debut album, they have been an active part of the reggeton world for a while. Josy, Luilly and Gordy formerly belonged to “Sin Rivales”, a Guayama group comprised by 8 young kids back in the middle nineties. The group released a self-titled underground production that gained great popularity in the southern region of Puerto Rico.
When “Sin Rivales” falls apart, Josy, Luilly and Gordy got together to start the production of the popular song “Fiesta”. The theme highlighted the talent of its creators, resulting in the establishment of Trivales (tri- for the trio composition of the group, and –vales in reference to their former group Sin Rivales). This is the beginning of the road to success for the promising trio.
The theme song “Fiesta” became the demo that gained the band an exclusive recording contract with Perfect Image Records, an independent record label specialized in urban music in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. “Fiesta” has already been featured in the smash hit CD JAMZ Vol. 1, which also includes “Ya Es Tiempo”, a Trivales’ song featuring Don Dinero.
Trivales is currently working under a very busy agenda promoting its latest production and performing in numerous cities around the U.S. and Latin America with great success, including Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Managua and San Pedro Sula.
The release of “Entrando al Juego” officially announces that Trivales has entered the game. This time Trivales comes determined to stay and impose their refreshing style of the new generation of reggeton everywhere.
